What is the best statistical program to yze trends?

I have a bunch of data that I want to yze. I am trying to find common trends amons of data but I do not know what program to use. It is literally a bunch of hard data. I know I can do it manually by using microsoft excel but I was wondering if there was a program that would do it for me, saving me a lot of time.
