Why can communication become mind boggling?

A man had a crush on you when you were 19 he 30. Now you're 41 and he's 52. You didn't respond to this persons invitations because you were intimidated and you worked for the same company. You leave the company when you're 22 and never see him again until you bump into him on the street 15 year later. He's been in a bad marriage and you are in the beginnings of your divorce. The two of you start to email and he even helps you out financially until you are back on your feet. You've now been intouch for 4 years, never been intimate. He dissapears for 7 months, you're cushed, then reappears and he's now legally seperated. He Starts to wine, dine and spoil you rotton but doesn' tell you what his intentions are, if any. The dinamics have changed, he shares with you his vacation plans but they don't include you. You don't know what to talk about because you're baffled, he likes to hug, kiss but doesn't communicate. You like him a lot but you're very confused and feeling angry. HELP!!
