No. There is no way to meet anybody new if you don't take a few risks. See if you share any interests and talk about those. Start with a neutral topic, like a movie or book then start discussing more stuff. I'm really shy to, but if i didn't take any risks, I would be very lonely and i don't like being alone. Everyone gets shy. Maybe he blushes because he doesn't want to embarr himself. Help him know what to say and don't mock him. Why do you want to talk to him? Do you like him? It won't go anywhere if he doesn't realize you exist.
